The real reason they are banning incandescent bulbs is because they do not cause health problems and THEY need sick people to make money.
So it's okay to power a 3 ton electric vehicles but the incandescent light bulb that cost 4 dollars more in energy in year than an LED needs to be abolished. CLOWN WORLD.
You're always giving up something to get something. I suspect that photographers might still want incandescent light bulbs, just like guitar players still prefer tube-amps, then there's always the people who like the heat produced by the old bulbs. It's not practical to light a large building with it, but what's the harm in a little 'mood lighting'?

Big Brother once again. I HATE these LED bulbs. HATE. Am considering kerosene lamps, as the LED light HURTS my eyes. What happened to CHOICE? Not in the U.S. Big Brother knows best.

Dollar general is not, at all, in anyway, a dollar store.
Everything costs, considerably, more, than a normal department store.
LED BULBS ARE BAD FOR YOUR RETINAS.
The dollar stores are now no longer selling incandescent bulbs. So I don't buy any bulbs now. And the new bulbs are toxic, not efficient. The department of energy has no science just as the EPA. No dictating to consumers while the elite politicians continue to use what they want. Why we need to end this madness now by ending career politicians.
All regular stores all have dollar items.
Dollar Stores are failing now and they have raised prices and are dead now. Karma and they are shutting them down.
